Terms and Conditions - Curious Creatures April Fools' Lucky Draw

1. Curious Creatures April Fools' Lucky Draw  (“Promotion”) is organised by Curious Creatures Studio Pte. Ltd. of 333 Kreta Ayer Road #03-21 Singapore 080333 ("Curious Creatures").

2. Employees and immediate family members of Curious Creatures, third party marketing and service providers (e.g. advertising/ partner agencies) who are involved in the set-up and/or operation of this Promotion are not eligible to participate. 

3. Participants must be Singapore residents and aged 18 years and above as stated on their Identity Card/ Passport (as of 1 April 2025).

4. By participating in this Promotion, each participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All rules and regulations and instructions issued by Curious Creatures from time to time will be deemed incorporated in these Terms and Conditions.

5. Key Dates

(a) The Promotion will commence from 1 April 2025, 0000hrs SGT and will close on 1 April 2025 2359hrs SGT. (“Promotion Period”).

(b) The Promotion consists of a lucky draw for transactions made between 1 April 2025 0000hrs - 2359hrs SGT at Curious Creatures stores located at Great World, ION Orchard, New Bahru, and online at www.curiouscreatures.cc (“Draw Period”).

(c) No submission is required, eligible orders will automatically qualify for a chance in the Promotion, unless participants specifically request to opt out of this Promotion.

(d) A Lucky Draw under the Promotion will be conducted on 17 April 2025, 3.00PM at Curious Creatures’ place of business at 46 Kim Yam Road #02-12 Singapore 239351 in the presence of an independent scrutineer.

(e) 1 lucky winner will be notified by 18 April 2025, 2359hrs SGT. Winning entry will be randomly selected using computerised means.

(f) The result of the Lucky Draw will be published on the Promotion website (www.curiouscreatures.cc/april-fools-day-lucky-draw).

6. Eligibility

(a) Participants must purchase any jewelry products from Curious Creatures stores located at Great World, ION Orchard, New Bahru, and online at www.curiouscreatures.cc

(b) No registration is required. Purchase order numbers will automatically be qualified a chance in the draw. Customers can request to opt out of the Promotion by informing the store representative at the point of purchase or email hello@curiouscreatures.cc upon placing an online order.

(c) It is participants' responsibility to provide a valid email address and mobile number at the point of purchase to be eligible for the Promotion.

For the purpose of determining a participant’s eligibility for the Promotion, the date and time of his/her submission shall be determined based on Curious Creature's e-commerce system records. Curious Creatures shall not accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed, whether or not arising during operation or transmission, as a result of any error or any factor beyond its reasonable control.

7. Promotion Mechanics 

(a) All eligible purchases will automatically be qualified a chance in the draw. Registration is not required. Customers can request to opt out of the Promotion by informing the store representative at the point of purchase or email hello@curiouscreatures.cc upon placing an online order.

(b) Participants shall enter their personal particulars (name, email address and mobile number) accurately at the point of purchase. By entering the Promotion, the Entrant hereby warrants that all information submitted is true, current and complete. Curious Creatures reserves the right to revoke any prize(s) awarded to any participant if any submitted information is deemed false, inaccurate and/or incomplete. 

(c) Each eligible order shall constitute one (1) entry into the lucky draw. Multiple orders will result in multiple entries. Orders that are cancelled, returned or refunded within the permissible period, as per Curious Creatures' returns policy, will be deemed ineligible for the Promotion.

(d) The one (1) lucky winner will be notified via e-mail from Curious Creatures. Details on redemption of prizes will be separately communicated to the winner.

8. Redemption of Prize

(a) The winner will receive a Daylight Necklace with Diamond in 14k Gold

(b) The prize must be collected by the winner / official representative of the winner by 30 June 2025, 5PM SGT at Curious Creatures' place of business at 46 Kim Yam Road #02-12 Singapore 239351.

(c) The winner may send a representative to collect his/her prize on his/her behalf as long as the representative possesses a written and signed document from the winners with proof of identity.

(d) The prize is not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or other items, and is not transferable.

(e) Curious Creatures reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or comparable value in the event of unavailability for any reason.

(f) In the event the winner does not respond to Curious Creatures within three (3) weeks from the notification email, the winner shall forfeit his/her claim on the prize and no substitutes will be provided in whole or in part. Curious Creatures shall have the right to award the unclaimed prize to the next winner on the winner list. 

9. Curious Creatures collects participants’ personal information in order to conduct the Promotion, and may, for this purpose, use, process and/or disclose such personal information for the purpose of prize fulfilment. Each participant consents to such collection, use, processing and disclosure of his/her personal information, and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. Validity of each entry for the Promotion is conditional on the participant providing this information.

10. By participating in the Promotion, each participant is communicating with Curious Creatures electronically. By doing so, each participant agrees to receive communications from Curious Creatures electronically. Curious Creatures will communicate by electronic mail to the electronic mail address provided by the participant and/or posting notices on the Promotion website. Each participant consents to receiving electronically all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that Curious Creatures provides in relation to the Promotion.

11. Each participant agrees that he/she may be required by Curious Creatures to, without compensation, take part in marketing, promotional and/or publicity exercises with respect to the Promotion, and may be requested by Curious Creatures to grant to Curious Creatures such consents and waivers in respect of Curious Creatures' use and/or disclosure of his/her name, voice, photograph, likeness or other personal identifiable information in any media (including such personal identifiable information contained in any promotional photographs and/or audio/video recordings taken in respect of the Promotion), for the promotion and publicity of this Promotion, the Curious Creatures brand and/or Curious Creatures products. Each participant agrees that he/she is free to decline to participate or to provide such consents and waivers; however, in such an event then the participant may be disqualified from participating in the Promotion.

12. Each participant shall not, without the prior written approval of Curious Creatures, disclose (including without limitation on online platforms and social media) any confidential information provided to him/her or which he/she has access to as a result of his/her participation in the Promotion, or speak or give any interviews or comments to the press or any other media relating to the Promotion without Curious Creatures' prior written consent.

13. Curious Creatures reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, or whose entry Curious Creatures believes have been manipulated in any way, or who otherwise interferes with the Promotion or does not adhere to these Terms and Conditions.

14. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, or for any other reason deemed necessary by Curious Creatures, Curious Creatures reserves the right in its sole discretion at any time and without assigning any reason, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate. No person shall be entitled to, and Curious Creatures shall not be liable for, any payment or compensation (whether in cash, credit or kind) whatsoever arising from the foregoing.

15. To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Curious Creatures (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including for negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Curious Creatures' control); (ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) any entry, claim or prize that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by Curious Creatures) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Curious Creatures; (iv) any variation to the value of the prize(s) stated in these Terms and Conditions; (v) any tax liability incurred by participant(s); or (vi) use of the Prize(s).

16. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each participant agrees to indemnify and hold Curious Creatures harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) arising from any breach by the participant of these Terms and Conditions and/or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the participant’s participation in the Promotion.

17. Except where expressly provided herein, each participant shall bear his/her own costs and expenses incurred and/or arising from his/her participation in the Promotion, and no reimbursement may be sought from Curious Creatures.

18. Curious Creatures reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice and without assigning any reason.

19. In the event there is any dispute arising from the Promotion or relating to the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of Curious Creatures shall be final and binding on all parties. No correspondence, appeal or further claims will be entertained.

20. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and each participant irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
